Robot operators comprise of a unique helical screw drive system fitted with self lubricating nylon drive nuts enclosed in an aluminium channel. This system provides both smooth and quiet operation, and minimal maintenance
The motor has an automatic V-belt tension device for utmost performance at all times.
Automatic reverse protection is built in so the door reverses instantly when obstructed during its downward travelling cycle. A sensitivity adjustment knob is located externally on top of the powerhead and is adjustable for more or less closing force.
Also provided externally on top of the powerhead are terminals for push button connection.
6 pin plug in radio receiver provision (12VDC) is found on the PCB along with provision for Photo Beam connection (12VDC N.C. switch).
Door push arm has a 'quick release' manual override in case of a power failure.
The GD-03 Domestic can utilize the push button terminals for key switch and/or intercom system
operation.
Stop ½ open is also available (provision on PCB if required) to stop the door upon it's opening cycle where desired by pressing the remote handset or push button.
Travel Speed 200mm/sec approximately.
